Hey, the text is actually large enough to read! I keep thinking it's too big, but then it gets to be too small, and it's just generally a mess.

I should say something about this comic. Hm.

Eri's "quality discussion" bar is set pretty low.

05/07/14 NOTICE: Comic will not update until next Monday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It's finals season, and I'd rather take a short break than write something terrible because I'm too busy. Thank you for understanding.

I've seen this episode like a bazijilliion times. Never really noticed it before but there is a lot more detail in the sets or this second pilot than eventually get into the series.

How is he making moves if he it is not his turn?

I don't think they really do turns outside of normal combat. More likely Robert's attack on Lee was counted as a single action that took place during the officer's discussion, and Eri only rolled once or twice to see whether the NPC noticed or was able to cry out (and how many seconds it would take him to die). They're not really abiding by Talking is a Free Action, in other words. Any other time discrepancy can be attributed to Eri's lack of experience running this sort of situation.

And yeah, some of this set looks pretty cool. That's one of the unexpected benefits of this comic; it offers the chance to slow way, way down and notice the details in each episode.
